If we haven’t met before, I’m Alex!

I’m a photographer and a Young Living Essential Oils lover + educator that resides in central Iowa. A fierce lover of Jesus and my little wonderful family: my husband Tyler, our big eyed pup Nollie, and the foster babies we have the honor of caring for at any given time.

About 6 years ago, while I pursued a degree in Elementary Education, I bought my first DSLR camera, and told myself I needed to learn how to use it manually. Throughout my last years of college, I slowly built a brand, marketed my services using Facebook and Instagram, and found my passion for photography and entrepreneurship.

Three years later, in the midst of a crazy wedding season, I needed help in supporting my immune system and my emotions, so I bought a kit of Young Living Essential Oils that completely changed my life.

As I dove into starting yet ANOTHER business through Facebook and Instagram, I began to realize the importance of utilizing systems and tools that make things as EASY as possible. Our business grew quickly, from putting my yes on the table to achieving the rank of Platinum in 23 months, as I worked hard to connect with others on social media and provide them with content that was curated, engaging, and filled with education. Building not just one, but two, businesses utilizing social media has taught me so much, and I hope to share some things I’ve learned with you right here on the blog.
